Libra and Aries - Opposites Attract
There are many things that can be attractive between opposites, particularly at first sight before vast differences in character really become apparent. These relationships can work and be more rewarding than any others, but they require compromise. The bonus then, for this combination of star signs, is that Libra is represented by the weighing scales.
Libra will weigh every decision carefully before acting and often be quite an indecisive person because of this. Aries on the other hand is a blazing fire sign who acts impulsively and confidently. This independence can be very appealing to Libra, as it is for Virgo and Pisces. It also gives them the chance to experience adventures, and have more fire in their life than they ever would if coupled with a more conservative sign.
Air Feeds Fire
Libra, being an air sign, feeds the fire of Aries who is notoriously incapable of following through with things they begin. Aries will always rush recklessly and impulsively into one action before leaving it half finished and launching head first into their next adventure. Libra's eye for detail and ability to persevere with things means there are many positives for Aries when falling in love with a Libran. By doing so, for example, Aries can find a partner who will help them to finish what they start and balance out their more reckless tendencies.
Key to Successful Aries/Libran Relationships
Understanding their differences and finding balance is the key to the success for this combination of star signs. That way Aries can maintain their adventurousness and independence, whilst also moderating it to strengthen the flaws in their character which can otherwise sabotage opportunities in their own life. Meanwhile, Libra can gain an adventurous, exciting influence in their life which they would otherwise lack, but also maintain their sense of balance.
Problems between Libra and Aries
If the couple cannot find balance then their differences will create problems rather than strengths. Libra, like Aries, is a powerful cardinal sign and Aries must be careful not to be too brash with their partner or attempt to dominate, rather than inspire. Libra, the sign of the scales, has a very strong, innate sense of justice. Usually they are a calm sign, thinking carefully and acting reasonably; but if they feel that the justice and balance within the relationship is tilted unfavourably away from themselves then Aries will feel the full force of Libra’s displeasure.
It is a relationship that can work, but only if both partners are serious about it because sacrifices must be made. Aries must learn to be more diplomatic, be tidier around the house – making big and small changes to their behaviour. Libra must accept that they are needed for their partner’s strength as well as to do some of the more mundane tasks in life that Aries will rush past and ignore. As is almost always the case, by making these sacrifices, both of these signs can strengthen their character and receive bonuses that would be impossible to attain without such a partner.
